Oh, sweetie. I completely get it. Incomes are pretty high in Virginia. Loudoun, for example, is the highest income county in the county. This study compares teacher pay to incomes overall in the state. But then it ranks them so someone just reading headline is led to believe Virginia pay is second lowest in the nation. Which it isn’t. Not by a long shot. This is, of course, disingenuous and deliberate. Every bit as disingenuous and deliberate as inventing bullshit about Critical Race Theory being taught in schools or saying McAuliffe and Herring are responsible for a sexual predator attacking students. It’s beyond disgusting. It’s also par for the course for Republicans, who do nothing in good faith. Shame on you. You’re completely disgusting and garbage. |
Anyone who is a one-issue voter decided who they were going to vote for before the candidates were even announced. |
+1. Terry cares about supporting school boards, not about educating children. HE shot HIMSELF in the foot. Hello, Governor Youngkin! |
It’s cynical politics to inject fear into anxious pro-choice suburban mommies about phantom menaces such as CRT to convince them to vote for a man who will absolutely redirect access to abortion at the first opportunity. |
First of all, who said I was a Republican? ![]() |
DP - I’m curious - are you planning to lose the General Assembly? Because the only way a Heartbeat bill is passed into law is if it’s written by the legislature. |
Ok. I can’t tell if people touting “education” as a reason to vote for Youngkin are ignorant or blatantly lying. Are you pushing the GOP lies or falling for them? |
School boards and PTAs are the avenues for parents to have input into schools. Most of the people showing up at PTAs to shout and threaten officials have no children in the systems and don’t live in them. Fact. Republicans vowing to ban the teaching of CRT in schools are like pledging to ban the serving of gorilla brains for breakfast. It makes no sense because that doesn’t happen now. |
DP. I’d say the GA is more at risk than the governorship. |
Republicans are expected to take back the House of Delegates this year. Democrats only a single vote majority in the senate, which is not secure at all (and Sears were to win LG, so would be an extreme anti-abortion tie breaker). Republicans could absolutely take the General Assembly, and then there’s be virtually no stopping them effectively banning abortion in Virginia. |
Even AA parents are saying CRT is racist, and they don't want it. |
Ok. So you. Do you honestly believe that? Or you know it’s a steaming pile of BS but you really want Youngkin to win so you shovel it out anyway? |
Alcoholics don’t want CRT? Nothing to worry about — CRT is a phantom menace. |
Wow. GOP is in for a major sweep of all offices. I wonder why that is? |
DP and I am ready to deal with it. I think we are at the point that we should sacrifice couple grown ass women who put themselves into this situation vs. sacrificing kids to suicides due to the schools shot down. |
