Ladies, what is your COVID Quarantine getting dressed routine?

Anonymous
I feel like a slacker. This is my routine:

Wake up
Wash my face
Apply vitamin C serum, eye cream and sunscreen.
put on a workout top and yoga pants

Are you all wearing makeup and doing your hair?

Roll out of bed, toss on sweats, put hair in bun, start working. Not having to get dressed, showered, makeup on, has been one of the tiny blessings of Covid time.

I put on my pants one leg at a time, same way as always.

But really.

I get up and put on yesterday's knickers, a pair of sweaty leggings, a sports bra and a shirt that has seen at least one day of use already. I hassle my family until they go out and hike about the neighborhood for at least 30 minutes. This week I have switched from sandals to hiking boots and I am wearing clean socks every day but that may change.

I come home, shower, throw on a clean pair of leggings and something that covers my top half, plus slippers. I start working. If video is needed, I run a swipe of the lipstick I keep on my desk these days (next home office upgrade will be a hand mirror).

I don't put on sunscreen unless I will be outside in the daytime. Before 9AM doesn't count. But I do moisturize. Mostly my legs, though.

Shower, scrubs on, hair up, leave for one of my 3 nursing jobs

Shower
Hair in ponytail or air dry for loose curls
Leggings and cotton shirts
Moisturizer and light BB cream (to even out complexion for Zoom calls)
Sleep in same outfit because I’m that lazy

+ A million. I just ordered new lounge pants (aka sweat pants) because my favorites have a small hole in the butt and I can't get around to sewing it. Not sure why I even care about the hole.. guess my bar is very low, but I gotta salvage some dignity.

Roll out of bed in the dark, don yoga pants and a clean shirt, and log on to work.
After family is awake: brush teeth, wash and moisturize face, comb hair and put in ponytail.

Mid-morning: change yoga pants into shorts or jeans, exchange slippers for shoes, and walk dog.
Put on makeup if video calls are planned; otherwise skip it.

Mid-afternoon: log off, put on mask, and pick up kid from daycare.
Shower before bed.

I go to the office once every few weeks. For that, I wear makeup and a dress. But I still put my hair in a ponytail because of the mask.

Wake up, work out, shower, moisturize, put hair up, put on sweats or something similar. I walk several times a day so I wear comfortable clothes every day.

If I know I have teams meetings with video, I might put on eyeliner.

Grab coffee from night stand (thank's hun), drink it, rouse kids, brush teeth, throw on yoga pants and t shirt, move kids along until they log in, grab a yogurt, log in.

Wake up
Get dressed (soft pants and t-shirt or jeans and blouse, depending on if I have video calls for work scheduled)
Make bed
Tinted moisturizer with SPF
Mascara if video calls planned
Style hair (it's short, this usually means some dry shampoo or a pomade and maybe some bobby pins or a headband)
Tea
Get up toddler, bed her to get dressed, she refuses
Breakfast
Make toddler get dressed
Everyone brushes teeth

If I didn't have a kid, I'd be doing a fraction of this. But I learned earlier in the pandemic that it is easier to get her going in the morning if I am dressed and ready because that reads as more normal to her and less like a lazy Saturday. And since our childcare situation is not ideal, there is no guarantee I'll get time to get cleaned up later in the morning if I don't do it first thing.

Exercise, shower, wash hair some of the time, use conditioner even less frequently, brush and use leave in product even less frequently than the conditioner. Then, because I am lazy, I put my wet hair in a bun using one of those spiral scrunchi things that are supposedly less bad for wet hair. I get dressed in tomorrow's workout clothes and log on to work.

On rare occasions I do a face mask or put on lotion. I do brush my teeth at least twice a day, though.

Exercise 3-5 mornings per week
Wash & dry hair (M/W/F)
Wash face & apply vitamin c serum, sunscreen & light makeup (daily)
Wear work uniform of jeans and a blouse with basic jewelry & Birkenstocks (daily)

My husband is on calls everyday. He started the quarantine with buttonedup shirts and slacks and “I need to go through the motions to get into work mode”. It soon dwindled but Throughout the summer he still wore collared polo-style shirts and his nicer shorts everyday. His effort just made me want to do better. (And he would make sarcastic comments.) So, my work wardrobe consisted of jeans or khaki shorts and a nice tshirt everyday for work Video calls.

I always wash and moisturize my face everyday. No no makeup tho.

I take a shower every morning. Wear glorified Black yoga pants and a clean T-shirt unless I have video calls then I’ll put on a nicer top. Mascara, moisturizer and lip balm. Spray or add some product to my hair and pull back in a hair band. Done

I never wear make-up and doing my hair means brushing it and putting it in a pony tail.

I wear my usual clothes: dressy casual, not yoga pants casual.
