Ladies, what is your COVID Quarantine getting dressed routine?

Always put on a outfit once my oldest is well into his zoom and my youngest has the tv on. Dresses in the summer, skirts or cropped jeans now with blouses. I love clothes so it’s my hobby. I don’t judge anyone in workout clothes, just find them not that breathable and clingy but I understand that’s just me bc everyone is in them. Makeup is about 50/50.
For a while I was showering around 3pm for the day and changing into an “evening” outfit like a dressier top or flouncy dress just for shits and giggles.

I get up, brush teeth, read the news online, drink coffee, wake kids up and get them breakfast, log into work to see what emails came in overnight, send out responses to critical emails, and make plan for the day. All of this is done in my PJs - which are basically athletic shorts or joggers and a T-shirt.

I then work out/go for a run and come home and shower. I blow dry my hair, put on make-up, and wear normal clothes such as comfortable dresses, cute tops/shorts/jeans, etc. Work until 5:00 or so. Shuttle kids to sports practice, dinner, etc. Wash face, brush teeth, and change into PJs before bed - usually another pair of joggers or pajama pants and a T-shirt.

What do you mean by getting dressed? I shower like twice a week and that's when I change my nightgown. My alarm is sent for 8:19am. I'm supposed to be online by 8:30.

I wake.
Pee.
Wash hands and face.
Slap on moisturizer.
Brush teeth.
Take medicine.
Fire up computer.

The biggest change for me is showering at night instead of in the morning. Now I can wake up, do something about my bed head (either spritz with water or straighten it depending on how many Team meetings I have and with whom). Maybe put on a little bit of makeup (again depends on my meeting schedule), put on joggers/leggings and a nicer t-shirt, sweatshirt or sometimes a nicer shirt (depends on my mood). If my feet are cold, I add socks. If not, Birkenstocks. I usually go for a walk late afternoon and shower either after that or before bed. I do not miss my commute at all!

I get up around 7, get my daughter going and ready to log-on for school at 8:30. While she’s doing her morning meeting, I workout for about an hour. Then, I log on for work and see what needs to be done. I always shower, dry my hair, put on makeup & put on jeans/t-shirt or blouse. Getting ready makes me feel like I can tackle the day. I don’t like feeling like my life is a never-ending weekend.

Roll out of bed. Go downstairs. I often wear pajamas all day. I shower at night. No makeup. No blow drying.

Thinking about wearing a blouse during all of this is making me laugh

I still get up and get dressed/ready, just to a lesser degree. I don't do a full face of makeup or full hair, but I do skin care, maybe some light tinted moisturizer, etc. I wear casual clothes, but still presentable enough to go out in public (usually gym clothes since I workout most days.) I still like to feel fresh and put together.

I wake up, shower/wash my face/brush my teeth/ and put my hair in a ponytail. I use my moisturizer, but no makeup. I wear casual clothes, but not loungewear or yoga pants or anything. Just casual pants/jeans or skirts and a t-shirt or sweater or whatever. I work from home, so there is no reason to spend time getting fancied up, but I find that basic hygiene and grooming and wearing clothes that are easily distinguishable from pajamas helps transition to a working day.

What is wrong with you people who don’t shower every day? I know we are all staying home but isn’t your family bothered by your stench?

I live alone. I've never showered every day. The most I've EVER done was every other day, and that was only when I lived in Florida during the summer.

So do you ever wonder why you live alone? Because I think I have an idea....

But really.

I get up and put on yesterday's knickers, a pair of sweaty leggings, a sports bra and a shirt that has seen at least one day of use already. I hassle my family until they go out and hike about the neighborhood for at least 30 minutes. This week I have switched from sandals to hiking boots and I am wearing clean socks every day but that may change.

I come home, shower, throw on a clean pair of leggings and something that covers my top half, plus slippers. I start working. If video is needed, I run a swipe of the lipstick I keep on my desk these days (next home office upgrade will be a hand mirror).

I don't put on sunscreen unless I will be outside in the daytime. Before 9AM doesn't count. But I do moisturize. Mostly my legs, though.

Shower, hair up, light makeup for Zoom calls, a nice-but-comfortable top for calls. I wear jeans or comfy pants now instead of trousers. I very rarely blow-dry my hair.

I usually wear light makeup on the weekends to, because otherwise I look tired and lifeless even when I’m not.

What tops are women wearing for video work calls? I mostly wear scoop neck long sleeved dresses in person and so far, but am tired of them. Would like to do comfy pants .... by what tops for a “nice” work call.
