Jen Hatmaker

Aaron Ivey is a disgusting, abusive, child predator and sexual assaulter. If Jamie stays with him, I don’t know how her brand survives.

The social media controls them, they don't control it.

I honestly feel bad for Jen. Her star rose until it didn't. Her kids aren't close to her. She's locked in a lifestyle with no way out.

They didn’t? I remember a lot of “He’s the best. We’re so in love. Marriage can be hard but we’ll always choose each other. We gross out our kids with our love making.”
Which suddenly changed, post divorce, to: “We’ve been having problems for years. He stole my spotlight. I always knew he was terrible.”

Did they sell a marriage book? No. Did she act like they were completely in love and a marriage to aspire to? Yes.

Don’t put quotes around words someone never said.

You obviously know nothing. The kids are close to her.

Oh okay! If they were, she would be posting all about her little loves and how thrilling, exciting and wild their life is together!

LOL. I am 100% petty enough to search her blog, social media, and podcast transcripts to find the exact (or nearly exact) quotes mentioned above, but alas, I’m too busy. May is bananas, as you know.

She posted Sydney today, only because of this sub. 😂😂

Was Sydney at GWU or American for her freshman year? Did she graduate yet?

I remember a graduation for Sydney. I think it was at UT.

She’s definitely close to all her children. They don’t want to be posted on their parents’ socials much and the parents respect that.

She had a crisis, got divorced and her brand never really recovered. Even if she hadn’t gotten divorced, I didn’t see much higher-level trajectory for her. The biggest reason being, she doesn’t come across that well on TV. She’s done a ton of public speaking but almost seems to be getting less refined as the years go on. Even the most “folksy” of public figures are trained out the yahoo, not to fidget and frantic and fill the air with nonsense. She can be charming in written word but when it’s on camera, real-time, she can’t calm down.

If anything, the divorce and related therapy, healing process, family recovery, and new life from hobbies to relationship to travel to finance management to body revamping is what gave her material to go as long as she has. The divorce was ironically the best thing for her career.

I don't know if the therapy is working. I still can't believe she participated in a diet/body positivity panel after making fun of her overweight seatmate on social media.

I hope all of her praying fans are praying for her daughter’s safety as Sidney travels all over the world. The US state department issued an international travel advisory this week warning LGBTQ+ Americans to be cautious in other countries during the month of June. For those of you wanting Jen to write about something legit again, her feelings on that scenario as a mom would be an attention getter. But it might also just feel contrived since she already stated she’s not a worrier and she’s thrilled her daughter is going. In sort of related news, it’s a big election year so she might have political insights coming too, to offset the many posts about gummies and online shopping codes.

I mean…she could always…get a 9-5 job like most people and fly under the radar…would t that be a way out?

Remy?

And I just don't think she's close to her kids. They certainly don't seem to be doing family zooms.
