And half of that is some reputation index. The rest of that 30% has unclear correlation with teaching.

Mind you, I have a degree from #2 on the list. I still think the rankings have nothing to do with the quality of undergraduate education.

Yeah most of these are research universities and are really good for graduate students. This doesn’t mean they are the best for undergraduates, which is the focus of this forum for most.
