Give your kids headphones!

Anonymous
Seriously, they cost like $5. I don't want to hear the noise coming out of your kid's TV/tablet screen. Maybe I've had a week with bad luck, but twice this week we have been seated at restaurants near a family where at least one kid is playing something full volume on a device. A public place is not your living room and even with the social distancing of tables the sound travels. So give your kids some headphones and let the rest of us dine in some peace, please! Better yet, maybe make your kid put down the screen for an hour so the family can engage with one another.

Stay out of restaurants during a global pandemic, dumbass.

Not all kids can tolerate headphones and if you are eating out during covid you should not be preaching to others as you are part of the problem.

Since when is playing one's music/movie/whatever else in public considered good manners?

Then teach your kid how to sit at the dinner table without a damn tv. This was true before Covid. Be a parent.

Good manners is not taking stupid risks for no reasons during a pandemic.

Maybe I want my kid on the iPad. We spend every day all day together and sometimes its a nice break. My kid doesn't watch tv.

You have no right to comment about what others do if you are so rude to go out to eat right now. I really don't care what someone else things. Yes, mine wear headphones but its not the point. We aren't disturbing anyone. We get carry out as its the right thing to do during COVID. And, you set a good example for your kids. Eating out is setting poor example and teaching your kids about how to be selfish.

You’re wallowing in a cesspool of contagion on a regular basis and you’re lecturing about devices. Lol.

Sorry Applebee’s isn’t up to your standards these days.
