I don't get involved with this stuff but I find the whole business model revolting. It's a gross combination of over privileged stretched faced moms running their own MLM for NW wanabees, hawking junky things made by very poor, if not enslaved, people in developing countries that eventually end up in landfills. The ballet party may have been thrown by only one of them, but it is a concise example of the greed, narcissism, and unethical behavior that fuels the stereotypes around milfies, etc. They are so thirsty and lean in so hard to all these shameful stereotypes. |
I think we all get standing up for other women, but these are not marginalized, silenced women who need support during this time in our country. They are white, high SES, suburban ladies who have chosen to live their lives and shill their products on a public platform. Forgive me for not running to Candace's defense while she posts almost daily videos of herself at the stables riding.
I think your time, energy, and emotions could be better spent wondering how to help people who felt compelled to work at Ashley's gala during a pandemic out of necessity. There are real people on the fringes of your life (i.e. grocery workers, restaurant staff, the homeless) who need your actual help. |

Louise Linton would eat Ashley and Candace alive. |
We have DCs at this school too. Families are still hosting backyard camps, and you should assume it will be this way going forward. |
The "wannabees" was deliberate. You know, all the buzzzzzz, the swarming, the hive-think, the pointy sting for those who don't follow in lock-step. fwiw. |
Tremendous segue into my next question: do you think bumble realized Ashley and Candace are mothers to multiple children when they asked them to be “DC’s Queen Bees?” Do moms bumble? |
Go away, louise’s publicist. |
I am here for making fun of the party lady but some of you seriously need to tone it down and find some personal contentment somehow. It’s not normal to be this upset about an Instagram account. |
I’ve not participated in this thread to make fun of her, but instead to point out that her behavior was irresponsible and damaging to others, and is a type of behavior that many other people are cavalierly following as well, which is making this crisis worse. Calling out =/= making fun. At the same time, with publicity-seeking efforts added to the mix and a culture of valuing people on the basis of (unearned ) money, it shows some problems in our society, such as the power and influence wielded by some people who are contributing very little to society. |
I am amused that no one’s pointed out the irony of these two creating a “mask holder” where said mask dangles from a chain. Pro tip: the mask holder is your face. |

Have you met either of them and are you outside of their target friend demographic? Once that’s you, then come back and see how you feel. These are not nice people unless you are part of their crowd. |
Agree, Louise is in her own wacky world, I don’t know why people keep bringing her up in this thread. She’s not hanging out with then Secretly Grifting crew. |
Even if they’re not nice, no one deserves this. |
