Coaches may be traveling less with budgets taking a hit.

Recruiting budgets will be significantly less.

Everyone should look at the thread created this morning and sign the petition to protect college sports

Micheal Welsh 06 VDA Coach and girls Director

This is not a flame, but isn't this the guy that BRYC people were complaining about here a few months ago? VDA 2006 was formed and developed before him. Also, wouldn't he be more inclined to recruit BRYC players than anyone else?

That BRYC team he coached kicked our ass. They played nice soccer. With most of the FCV players coming back to Loudoun I don’t know why anyone would drive to Woodbridge.

VDA has the majority of their practices at long park. 30 minutes directly south of Evergreen and Loudoun Park. 1 practice a week in Woodbridge. Not trying to recruit. Just saying. They are more a Gainesville team vs a Woodbridge team.

Vda is not in Gainesville, Haymarket and Woodbridge. Loudoun kids should go back to Loudoun not drive 2 hours to Woodbridge

Just google Long Park from your house. His training is worth the drive, never seen better training. He expects a lot from the girls and pushes them to obtain elite status. Your kid will come off of each practice sweating and learning new skills the right way. Those who complain are usually the ones that can’t take his expectations, he will get your kid ready for top competition and college. Yes, my kid has been on his team and no I am not recruiting just telling you how it is.

Try not to answer to yourself to prove a point.

Title 9 will work in favor of girls programs.

I truly hope that most of you don't think because your child is in the ECNL they will have a better chance of getting a scholarship than another kid in a different league if your child doesn't have the goods. You need to remember that instead of making sure your child is in the best league. You need to worry more about making sure that your child is in position to be the best person and player they can be. Colleges recruit individuals and not whole teams.
