They are probably saying June 30th so people don't pester them if they don't get them sooner. |
Of course that is what she would say. That is the company line. |
My money is still on June 18-21 for receipt of letter. That's the window from past years, and I believe the appeals committee review is concluded by June 11 (that was the rule last year, with another rule about mailing the letters between 6/15 and 6/30.) |
I hope you are right. Does the thought of waiting until June 30 make anyone else queasy? |
I dont want to waste summer waiting on things |
Principals and local AARTS are supposed to get an eligibility list of the base school kids who were accepted on appeal no later than Monday. Usually the letters are mailed/received shortly after that.
The timing allows them a small window to discuss staffing and placement issues before all the teachers leave on Wednesday. |

So it could come any time between now and June 30. I will be scared to open it. My daughter knows nothing about this and I do not plan on telling her until school lets out anyway so maybe it is just fine if it comes next week. |
If the envelope is very thin like one page, then be scared. Likely to be a one page rejection letter. You want to see at lest two pages think. |
Be still. Nearly all, if not all, of the children whose parents have posted here will be found eligible on appeal. |
For the first round the acceptance letter was mailed first. At least the people in my neighborhood got theirs first and I received the ineligible letter about 3 days later. |
Not in my case, both arrived at the same time. |
Where does this information come from? Is it true? |
I think she/he is just speculating based on the scores posted. |
Rats, I didn't post scores. But I'm still hopeful.
Good thoughts to all. |
