Yes, she definitely did. But if you have ever listened to interviews with her, watched any of her creations, or followed her on social media, you know that she is a self-proclaimed hypochondriac and is also constantly referencing additional chronic illnesses, to the point that it seems to be the main component of her identity. You’re taking it a bit out of context. It wasn’t her idea/realization that it was similar to a holy communion dress. “ Then it turned into June Carter Cash, Priscilla Presley, Coal Miner’s Daughter energy. Then Christopher was like, “You look like you’re either at a first Communion or a Madame Alexander doll,” both of which I also liked!”
