The wealthy aren’t sending their kids to public. |
Many are if those public schools are in the Langley and McLean HS pyramids. |
North Bethesda/Kensington would be the best MD comparisons to Vienna. |
| Proximity to Great Falls? |
Please. You don't know what you are talking about.
|
| It isn’t. |
Great Falls = Potomac |
Of course it is. And we especially love that it takes up so much space in your head. |
LOL no. Forest Hills is not prestigious. |
I also question Kent and I live there. |
Thinking McLean is as prestigious as Bethesda is delusional. No one outside of McLean would think that |
You poor little baby. |
Nobody in Chevy Chase things Bethesda is prestigious, fwiw. |
|
Guys, you are getting off base. The question that OP asked was simply, "Why is McLean prestigious?"
This has nothing to do with comparing it to other cities. Posters have already expressed numerous reasons that it holds a high status. Now move on. |
|
McLean is not prestigious. Who actually respects or admires McLean?
McLean is not a city. McLean is a just a hodgepodge collection of wealthy neighborhoods in Fairfax County with a few unimpressive shopping plazas and office buildings that constitute a car-centric "downtown." |
