How does one get into the Ivy's?

Or multi-generational legacies---if you are a descendant of John Quincy Adams and 6 generations went to Harvard before you, then they are going to let you in if you have decent grades/scores.
the "something remarkable" listed by the PP on page 1 is a broad category----everything from being the world's pre-eminent teen beekeeper to being the kid of billionaires.
And also geographic diversity: If Harvard has to choose between the "unhooked" straight A/perfect SAT from NoVA and the "unhooked" straight A/perfect SAT from North Dakota, then North Dakota wins.

We are Asian. No national recognition. All that you read on this thread is a myth.

It’s none of that crap. You are trying to force a narrative here that just doesn’t apply to my kids. And to a good number of their friends.
