| we do two pieces for my 5 year old DD since she was 3 because it makes potty breaks at the pool so much easier. Never thought about the sexualizing aspect - yikes |
| American women are very judgmental about other girls and women’s bodies and what they can wear. |
|
Depends on the suit. I think 2 pieces are mostly fine, but some would be a no for me.
Cute.
Pass.

Your child can wear two pieces without them being itty bitty cheeky bikinis, you know that, right? 1. Old Navy 2. Gap 3. J. Crew 4. Kohls

Let me clarify: I think 2-piece swimsuits for girls (not including tankini style) immediately make people imagine that girl in a "bra and underwear" - to me, that seems inappropriate prior to being fully developed/older.

Uhh this is bizarre. I do not see a 2-piece and imagine the girl in underwear. Seriously wtf? |
What? No. Maybe if you are a perv. |
I agree, but I also think the last two would be hideous on an adult woman. |
Literally nobody sees a small child in a 2 piece and imagines them in a bra and underwear. WTF. |
Yea, the last 2 are trying to make it look like there are boobs where no boobs exist. That's odd for a child, just like if boy's swim trunks tried to make it look like a 7 year old is packin'. |
Yeah, no. You have some issues you need to work through. |
Can you read? The last two are inappropriate. |
|
I started wearing one at age 4, 30 years ago OP, lol.
A two piece is fine at any age, as long as their butt is not hanging out, or they are not made to look like little hoochies. Lands End |
But it's okay to imagine an older, fully developed girl in bra and underwear? WTF, OP? So much of your statement is just wrong, wrong, wrong. Get therapy before you ruin your daughter. |
No, I don’t. I’m just very in tune to how many “pervs” are in the world. Look up stats on NATIONAL CENTER FOR MISSING AND EXPLOITED CHILDREN. -OP |
