Maybe, maybe not. Men die younger and lose their ability to have sex younger and a lot of them want to date younger women, so finding a guy to date gets harder and harder as women get older. Women have more choices when they are young. Men have more choices when they are older.

As a 50 yo woman, who may divorce soon-the LAST thing I'd EVER want is another man to deal with!!!

Literally. Who needs a cranky old man. Or his kids. I've had my kids. A man has nothing to offer me-I have a decent job and don't live nor care about the high life.

At this time-I just crave some calm and quiet. I work full time and still have a kid under 18, and aging parents- I couldn't muster up the time or energy to date or even fwb. Hopefully I will have grandchildren at some point and I want to be available to be grandma!

If he's 55, how is dating a 60yo a "grandma"? At that age, a 5-year age difference really isn't much of a difference at all. Also, I have friends who are your age that are grandmas and they're all hot.
