So if the racist remarks were not from the Queen or Prince Philip - could it have been Charles? Or William? Guessing it was William and this is Harry's way of blocking his brother's ascension to the throne.

LOL don't be silly. Even genuine racism has never blocked anyone from the throne. Let alone secondhand-reported remarks that we don't know who made them and what exactly was said.

The issue with the BRF is that they are all uneducated hicks, in essence, certainly have they have no clue about CRT or what racism is today. They are all like your old gramps or uncle who "are not racist, they just see it for what it is!" And what it is is a bunch of Black people not knowing their place!
Sadly, most of dcum is also nothing but a bunch of hicks, who are so racist but think they are "just seeing it for what it is!"

No one put a gun to her head to marry an uneducated hick.

If a Vanity Fair article by a woman who can’t stand Meghan is all it takes to topple the BRF then they weren’t long for this world.

It's crazy how Meghan detractors think that literally every piece of news and information (barring the actually crazy conspiracies) that mention Meghan is somehow manufactured straight by Meghan herself. These people genuinely have no idea how the media or PR actually works.

If you think a front page feature article in Vanity Fair that offers analysis, not news, and is extremely biased toward one party in the conflict, JUST happens, then it's you who has no idea.

The first few paragraphs of the article are pure cringe:

BEFORE SHE WAS Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle referred to herself as “Rango’s mermaid.” The phrase comes from French-Cuban writer Anaïs Nin’s autobiographical novel The Four-Chambered Heart, which Meghan quoted often in her Suits era: “I must be a mermaid, Rango. I have no fear of depths and a great fear of shallow living.”

Oh no a mermaid again. A grown woman comparing herself to a mermaid.

Meghan wanted more than middling cable TV success. Elizabeth Tuke, her publicist from 2014 to 2016, encouraged her to go out for blockbusters. “You could be the next Megan Fox,” Tuke told her. Instead, she embarked on a USO tour to Afghanistan, Spain, Italy, Turkey, and England; traveled to Rwanda to build wells for clean water; and campaigned against menstrual poverty among schoolgirls in India.

She didn't embark on a tour INSTEAD of blockbusters. Blockbusters didn't want her. It's like me saying instead of marrying George Clooney, I went for my dear old husband. The truth is Clooney would never propose!

“She is this superambitious woman,” Tuke added, which shouldn’t be a dirty word. Meghan did press Q&As in her car on the way to set at four in the morning and affirmed her respect for Tuke’s role in their written agreement, with language that declared Meghan would “never minimize me as a person or my prowess in the field.”

You think this information JUST came up? Like in a journalistic investigation? Or was it that Meghan's people likely marshaled her up?

DP. Yeah, you are nuts. Have you literally ever, in your entire life, been involved with press publication? Because I have, and you sound like a ranting crazy person to me.

Agree with PPs that this feels like a plant. The article calling her a "superstar" before she was married to Harry? Lmao.

Prince Harry is back in the states with his baby and expecting wife. I find it interesting how Harpers Bazaar emphasizes he's 'safe' in the first line.

The U.S. has Harry's back and I'm thinking more than a few people were worried something would 'mysteriously' happen to the Prince while in the UK.

Superstar? Who even heard of Meghan before she met Harry?

Mermaid Meghan

Voiceovers for the little mermaid should be her next gig.

But the dude never went to college. What do they talk about when they are not having s**?

Did you really mean to say this?

Are we surprised that people who dislike Meghan are racist?

For the record, not that it should ever even matter, Meghan has dated black men.

Has she? Just curious.

I'm surprised how many people she has fooled. Most thought she was white simply going by appearance. I doubt she really identifies as black, but as a opportunist she had motives to do so. She's equally white with a white father etc. but again she is merely a opportunist.

Two white husbands and her behavior tell a lot about her.

“Fooled”? That’s not what you call it when you make assumptions — and your assumptions are wrong.
Years ago, Meghan actually wrote about her biracial identity. She is close to her Mom. She gets to date and marry whoever she likes. This may, or may not, say something about her identity and her culture.

Your assumptions are just that — your personal opinions based on your personal limitations. They have nothing to do with anyone else’s reality.

I’ve actually thought it was William — based on absolutely nothing. This will in no way “block ....ascension to the throne”. Monarchies don’t work that way. My guess is that a lot will change when the Queen dies — and I wish her good health and continued longevity.

I work with the press for a living for an international organization. So depend upon it that when you have a quote from a reasonably obscure source (a publicist from 2014? their written agreement? come on) about a person who is extremely litigious with the press she doesn't like? That quote has been cleared by the source and handed to the journalist ahead of time.

It takes a particularly misguided person to think that Meghan went into international development because she PREFERRED this to blockbuster parts. There were no blockbuster parts.

This article was written together with Meghan's press people. 100%.
