Chrissy Teigen really loves attention

They are here. Reading these comments and still don’t care. It’s pretty clear both Chrissy and Stodden want attention and to stay semi relevant. Stodden claims to be hurt but it reads more along the lines of her wanting to cancel the only famous person she can in order to get people talking about her.

No.

I think Teigen must have been so drunk when she tweeted those nasty things, she probably had no memory of doing it.

Normal people apologize after doing things like that. Just because you don't remember doesn't mean it didn't happen or you aren't responsible.

As she should. I was disappointed and offended by Roman’s comments. She paid a high price for those comments and essentially torpedoed her career. I felt badly for Teigen at the time, a producer of Roman’s show. Teigen seemed genuinely stung and understandably so. But what a hypocrite, wow. History of bullying and harassing women. No, thank you.

roman’s comments were totally overblown - cancel culture at its worst. but in teigen’s defense, she actually didn’t join the cancellation attempts. but anyway last laugh is on tiegen because her recipes suck, but alison roman’s are genuinely really good. roman’s cancellation was part of a broader wave of cancellations within the food media world and of course hers was more bitter and vicious because it’s always easier to go after a young, successful liberal white woman for saying something wrong than it is to address actual issues. her cancellation was about social media mobs and jealousy.

Absolutely not. Her food is bland and boring like her.

All of the recipes of hers I’ve made have been really good. I cook and read recipes a lot so I know what I’m talking about. But thanks for confirming that this is about attacking her personally and not about the bona fides of the situation. Alison Roman losing her job because of some snarky musings vs Teigan’s vicious harassment of a vulnerable teen are completely different scales.

Continue to go off but I’m specifically addressing your claim her recipes are good. I’ve never seen such boring and bland recipes delivered by such a boring and bland person. Sorry not sorry. Idc care what happens to Chrissy, Alison or Courtney.

Did you cook any of them? The one Chrissy Teigen recipe I made was disgusting. I made an Alison Roman short rib recipe with gremolata and people could not stop raving about it. Not super fancy but with little touches that take a meal from good to really good. The crusade against Alison Roman is clearly driven by jealousy and pettiness.

Yes. Not liking Alison’s bland recipes does not equate to pettiness or jealousy. She has nothing to be jealous about.

I find it really interesting that Candace Owens is the one telling us about this.

I'd have expected a few more people to weigh in, but I haven't been on Twitter today, so maybe they did?

Her apology was all about her, plus the recipient was blocked by her, plus the apology never came until she was publicly called out. So…no. Insincere in an attempt to keep her target and vrbo gigs.

Also snark is one thing….here….statements like hers are despicable. Can’t compare.

Agree. I’ve been drunk, angry, and immature, but I can’t imagine ever telling someone to kill themselves. And multiple times over multiple days? That objectively crosses the line. And your points about the apology being weak are totally valid. It even included a line feeling sorry for herself because, as a public figure, she is being held accountable.

DP. They both look plastic but for different reasons. Courtney seems damaged and was abused at a v young age so I sympathize. Chrissy is a narcissistic, thirsty for attention hag so it’s hard to find any beauty in her, inside or out.

I concur.

Photos of Courtney before all the plastic and the being pimped to a middle age man by her trashy mother are heartbreaking - the girl was a true natural beauty and she was utterly failed by every adult in her life with the result being that she now looks freakish and she clearly has deep psychological damage from being groomed as sexualized as a child.

Until I hear a similar backstory for Chrissy Teigen, SHAME ON HER. What a despicable way to behave - she was 25! I knew better at 15! And she’s still not sincerely apologized. It’s not sincere when you do it on social media for your followers but don’t actually offer a private mea culpa to the objects of your bullying.

And yes, Teigen’s face is more freakish than Stodden’s.

Agree. Plus her "apology" was full of self-pity. Cancelled.

Anonymous wrote:Chrissy Teigen telling a young woman - a teen, actually - to take a "dirt nap" is revolting. This term is so grotesque and I have lost all respect and all connection to Chrissy; someone who I liked and admired.

I have unfollowed her and I will NEVER buy a single thing she owns or is connected to. EVER.

And no, I'm no Trumper so don't even start. Loved her and her husband, especially over the last four years. I find her now to be disturbing. Should she even be around children?

I’m glad you feel the way you do. I’ve given her clicks for recipes and have enjoyed and shared some of the recipes warn friends but otherwise, don’t know that I’ve given Chrissy Teigen money. I’m definitely part of her target audience - mom to a young child, hate Trump, live in the city, follow pop culture and am into style, etc.

I read other message boards and I’ve been really shocked at how few people in this general demographic seem to give a shit. Like, giving eye rolls as a reaction, everyone makes mistakes, she (Chrissy) was young. And I can only conclude that Chrissy earned permanent cool points with people for hating Trump which...is not a personality trait! It’s not distinct! Hundreds of millions of us disdain Trump. So the other thing is that a LOT of women (because the boards are primarily female) is that Stodden represents a “who cares” victim, with the porn aesthetic and the aggressive sexuality. They DGAF that she was provably underaged and abused. THEY, along with Teigen, think abused tweens and teens who aren’t perfect bookworms or “naturally” beautiful are sluts, and sluts deserve pain, humiliation, and death threats. It’s women serving as enforcers. It’s revolting but you know I’m not lying.

I don’t give a sh*t. I don’t hate Chrissy and I still follow her on IG. I might buy her cookbook one day. I also think she’s a mean girl who can dish it out but can’t take it. The only thought I have about Courtney Stodden is that she wants attention as much as Chrissy does.

Telling people the truth about how Chrissy attacked her isn’t seeking attention, it’s not only her right, it could help her.
