| She is beyond annoying and announcing you're leaving Twitter is very Facebook circa 2009. She is too much! |
| I don’t get why she didn’t close her Instagram as well. Whatever the issues were won’t end with Twitter. |
| Twitter is especially rabid. Not as bad a DCUM, but it’s easier for her to avoid comments from people like OP and PP. |
| I do think making a big announcement about it is silly. Just...stop tweeting and stop checking. Done. |
| Well, you’re paying attention to her, so I guess you’re part of the problem. |
Yep. People on DCUM have no idea how awful Twitter is. IG censors a whole lot more than Twitter. |
Uh, I don't comment on her Twitter. |
| It's literally her job to get people's attention, so yeah. Obviously. |
| Hmm. OP, for some reason, it bothers you that Chrissy Teigen “really loves attention”. So you come to a completely different platform from the one that seems to bother you, to start a whole new thread on Chrissy Teigen? So we can give her — and you? — “attention “. Okaaaaaaaay. Lol |

Arrivaderci to a piece of shit, who is already being toasted by her numbnuts fans on Insta.

Huh? That reads like a nobody trying to get her own name out there by mentioning Tiegen and John Legend. |
+1 Wait the blond in that pic is 25? She looks 50. From your link: Many poked fun at Courtney back then, including this site, but she zeroed in on the celebrities who made fun of her including Anderson Cooper. With that being said, Courtney said that Chrissy hurt her the most. |
Here you are not only giving it to her but amplifying it... |
I don't know who this person is and I like Chrissy Teigan. However, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that Teigan said some nasty, shaming things about a D-list celebrity a decade ago. Not because Teigan is a terrible person but because shaming other women has always been a national pastime in our culture and I think there are very, very few women who can honestly say they never did it. Look at the ret-con everyone is doing on Britney Spears right now. A lot of people said cruel things about her back in the day and now, looking at those comments, realize how uncalled for they were. But again, we LOVE doing this in our culture. I wouldn't say it makes Teigan a hypocrite. She has probably grown as a person. But I think it's worth thinking about the ways we've treated others in the past, especially when we are facing hurtful behavior from others in the present. It's an opportunity for growth. I know I've thought more critically about the way I've talked about other women earlier in my life, and realized that plenty of the things I've said were driven by internalized misogyny and really don't reflect well on me. |
Teigen was an adult who told a teen - who had been sexually abused and was permitted to marry a crazy adult man by bad parents - to kill herself on Twitter. She’s infamous for name-calling the little girl who starred in the Annie remake names, and for liking a tweet where someone else called the girl a C word. If she were an edgy comic that’s one thing, maybe, but she’s a crybaby who wants the world to pity her on demand? No. She’s a POS. |
