I would just like to say that the expression “calm your tits” was about the funniest thing I’ve come across in days. Thanks for the laugh. |
I have 2 kids back (elementary and middle) and one (high school) returns tomorrow. So far so good! My kids have loved being with teachers and friends. My kids are all doing fine academically so I’m not terribly worried about that part. Grade wise doing fine, reading books, etc. honestly I’m most concerned about my middle and high schooler in Spanish because there is so much less speaking practice in this setting and they are both in high school level Spanish so not sure how that will work next year.
Teachers are trying their best, none of my lids is sitting on teams with in-person teachers. My 4th grader came gone with ipad at 90% charge because they barely used it. Better than I hoped for. |
Our WMS experience has been great and our 6th grade daughter is happy. She has a few teachers working virtually, but we prefer that to a long term sub without knowledge of the students or curriculum. From what she explains her experience is interactive and positive, and she is not logging into teams in all of her classes (just as needed). |
How bad is your attitude, AEM Rant Dad? |
Which two schools? Or at least name one. |
Is Ranting Dad also Lawsuit Man? |
Ranting Dad is MS and I think lawsuit Dad has kids in ES. |
It’s not that they were allowed that leeway. APS just made the principals make these decisions, abandoning any pretense of leadership. |
No, totally different people. |
I love that his new name is "ranting Dad". Fits in perfectly with ventilation lady, forest school lady, lawsuit dad, and many more. |
100% Agree. One size fits all does not work in this situation. Each school has different variables to take into consideration. |
JFC. This is a pandemic. Nothing is "great." |
BUT WHY DOES THE PANDEMIC HAVE TO BE HARD ON MEEEEEEEEE? |
Haha!! |
And don't forget everyone's favorite McCrazy |
