Don’t be mad just because you can’t afford a $270 bird |
| I am a California kid and my preferred style is pretty different than what has been posted, though I think some of the ones posted are beautiful. But give me white stucco, Mexican/Spanish tiles, large arches that open into gardens of bougainvillea and jasmine, huge windows, and tile floors! I am trying to find some good pictures. Looking for them is making me nostalgic for my rural SoCal childhood! |
Sure, I love those things. Btw I’m in my mid 30s. Some of us like classic decor! By the way, I think there should be a new rule that anyone who makes a post slagging a posted photo must also post a photo of something they like! |
This hurts my eyes. I feel like I would have liked it in the early 90s. |

I love that acrylic table and I love that it’s in the same room as an antique highboy.
The colors are a little brighter than I’d go for, but it’s a happy, preppy room. Give me a room full of color any day over a room full of beige and gray! |
You should register a username so we know when one of the resident experts is posting. And which picture is yours? |
The urns on the fireplace are borderline creepy. I know I know, they’re vases that you picked up at pier one because they’re are oh so chic. But whyyyyy so many!? |
Just stop with the trolling. Chinoiserie is classic. It's been more popular than usual for the last few years and that layered look has been in for a while. Every Kellogg Collection store has beautiful jars and vases all over the place for the last ten years. Have you been in a cave? |

OK, show us your dream decor. |
Totally failed at that! Trying again! |
Again with the urns! |
| I love anything by Amber Lewis or Jean Stoffer. |
That designer doesn't let you right-click any of her pictures. I don't understand why, but she's a bit strange. |
