I dislike FCV and Loudoun equally. But stick with the facts

Facts are facts. Downhill for FCV. Hard to dispute.

So when those 04 and 05 comittments coming out, what say u?

The 04s and 05s must be shorter faster players.

First thing a coach looks at is the bio

Name
Graduation class
Club
Position
Height
Weight
GPA

Thats how the bio is setup. Thats what they see.

It seems most positions requires a player to be at least 5’5”.

Really wasn't. While helpful, the OP was clearly looking for "actual" interaction with colleges and if physical attributes were brought up for positions. The generalities of Keeper must be taller, 5'7"-6'1", is a little TOO obvious. What are coaches telling actual kids out there in NOVA? I'd like to know if it's just that cut n dry with respect to size and physical characteristics or coaches simply dont care. Doubtless a D1 coach cares the CB is 5'5" when she can run the 40-yd dash in 4.3 seconds.

Dumbest post of the day. Flat out wrong. No D1 coach takes a 5’5 CB. The team would lose many games to headers in the box. Set pieces would crush them.

The majority of kids playing college soccer will be at or near the national average. The difference in an inch or two isn't a game changer for most positions. If you think so, I suggest you pull out a ruler and reevaluate.

You're better off arguing about body mass and strength.

Have you ever looked at a D1 roster? Your kid must be young.

On paper, the average height for D1 players is 5'6. Thats taking all the reported heights on rosters. Ever notice there are no 5'5 and a quarter, 5'5 and one tenth? Its because it all rounded up to the highest number. 5'5 becomes 5'6....even when its 5'5. So actually, 5'5 is closer to the average. That is one inch above the national average.

As I said before, the majority of players will be at or near (inch or two) of the national average.
