Harassing Columbia Heights diners

NP. These Intimidation thuggery attacks were the kind of tactics used in the 10 years in Germany prior to the rise of the Nazis. I have Jewish friends. No way am I doing a Nazi salute.

Exactly. The others are doing it to stop the thugs but that's exactly how Nazis got their start and grew powerful so quickly. They use fear to get their way. These folks are no different than the Nazi's or KKK. I had many family members die in the holocaust. I'm not supporting the next group targeting to do the same.

CCP Struggle Sessions.

I don’t care how on board sympathetic to the cause I am (and I AM!), I’m not being coerced into throwing up a black power sign “in solidarity” by anyone. This is straight up creepy fascist behavior.

I plan to vote for Biden, but wow, videos like this really boost Trump's claim that he is the one who can protect people from these street mobs. It's hard to see Bowser or a Biden government doing anything to prevent this

If Biden is elected, these thugs or mobs will go home and claim victory. The goal is too defeat Trump. Biden and Harris will give them everything they want so there is no need to protest.

I think it's the exact opposite. A Biden win will just empower these fascists and make them demand more public acts of obedience

BS. I'm really digusted by the crap I'm hearing from Republicans in this campaign. So divisive and so much gaslighting.

Fu€king moron. It’s a black power fist.

Are you seriously that clueless on how it can look to others? Its not ok and a take off of the salute. Be real. You are a moron for thinking its ok to attack people and to use a salute like that and force others but physical intimidation. For one racial group to try to impose power over another is very concerning.

I know exactly what it looks like. It looks like your BLM protesters are really upping their game and starting to branch out into your private spaces.
Enjoy!

They aren't protesters. Protesters are not violent. These folks are. Its a Hitler salute and its shocking someone today with any level of common sense would behave in that way. I would not hold my arm out like that.

You're an idiot. It's a raised fist...Black Power solute. They look stupid doing it but it's not a hitler salute.

DP
The salute may not be the same, but their tactics are.
A group of people trying to intimidate complete strangers to "show solidarity" by insisting that they raise their fists.
It is frightening that so many young people think this is ok.

These are likely the same people screaming "fascists pigs" at police.
Ironic.

Nah these people are still salty that Bernie or AOC will never be president (cause they’re loons)

I feel so sorry for those kids. They need intensive deprogramming therapy. It was scary the way they snapped into action when their leader orders them to the front of the crowd. They had the same crazed empty look in their eyes like the Manson children. I hope their parents see this video and try to rescue these young adults before it is too late.

I plan to carry pepper spray.

Good idea. Stupid question but where do you buy it?

Hunting stores. It’s marketed as Bear spray. It’s way better than traditional pepper spray against protestors and attacking dogs—better launch, harder to hurt yourself, and more powerful. And easier to get. I’d absolutely use it against these losers.

You give them The Look, swipe your hand across your face from forehead to chin with palm in, and walk away.

That needs to change. Stuff like this will only get worse if Trump is re-elected because he makes it acceptable for all sides to move to their respective extremes.

Also, I doubt any of these assh-ts are voting for Trump or Biden. In fact, their social media likely expresses a hatred for Biden. These are Bernie acolytes. Can you imagine how much worse it would be if Bernie was the nominee?

Oh blow it out your ass. With a president who actually wants people to have health care a ton would simmer down.

Oh sure that would make this all go away.

Idiot.

I think it’s time to buy a gun. Never thought I’d say that.

It's really too bad. I used to spend thousands of dollars per year between penn quarter, chinatown and 14th street restaurants. Now with all the thugs and shootings we decided to no longer go in for DC dining until law and order returns to the city. Probably will require a new mayor and the city may never come back from this downward spiral.

Bye bye - going to a few Caps games a year doesn't qualify you to comment on DC matters. You and your SUV racing through my neighborhood won't be missed.

Yeah but the tax dollars will be. DC is already facing a tax shortfall from the commercial sector. Do you think Wards 1 and 3 can be the tax base for a high need city?

Pushing for universal health coverage doesn’t excuse these tactics.

Biden supporters don’t do this kind of idiocy. This is hard left Bernie Bro antics, who are just mimicking Trump in their bullying.

Then why the hell doesn’t your boy Joe condemn it?

So you admit Trump also promotes bullying in American discourse? I’m glad we see eye to eye!

Not like this, Trump doesn’t. Joe and the Prosecutor are siding with the mob
