His acting is superficial to me. He does not have authenticity or depth to his performances/characters. He's very one note. |
I didn't like his character in Girls but i like him otherwise as an actor. He's kind of the male version of what the French call "jolie laide" - which kind of means you have ugly features but the overall effect is pleasing. He's kind of sexy ugly, like Benicio del Toro, because his features are weird and very asymmetrical. We're conditioned (or genetically biased) toward finding symmetry more beautiful.
I think he's crazy hot as Kylo Ren in Star Wars. He and Daisy Ridley have some real chemistry. |
He is an incredibly gifted and intense actor. And he's good-looking, yet unattractive, yet magnetic, all in an abstract way. |
Well said |
His intensity is very unsettling for me. i was pleasantly surprised at this most recent SNL episode though! |
boomers hate millennials, yup |
I don't generally find him attractive, but he was pretty hot in that Burberry ad.

Goddammit why didn’t any of you tell me he was hosting SNL? I missed it |
He was a Marine for a minute. That earns my respect to pivot. I thought he was very handsome in the movie house of Gucci. His best look so far is cleaned up Italian. |
I thought he was hot in Star Wars. |
I love him, he's totally one of my favorite male actors. |
I think he's ugly. No amount of working out will change that. Also, I dislike his voice, and it's very rare I even notice people's voices. But it's like a deep voice yet with deviated septum noise mixed in. Couldn't care less he was in the military. His looks are so off-putting to me that I can't even tell if he's a good actor or not.
Saw Marriage Story and hated it. |
He is hot and a good actor |
Maybe Cumberbatch? |
