Why does someone have to be attractive to be an actor?

I think Driver is a good actor and has proven his mettle by the diversity of roles he's taken on.

I disagree. I think he is a good actor. He did really well in the last Star Wars movie in my opinion. It would have been silly if someone like the guy who played Darth Vader ( Hayden Christianson?) Now he was awful!

I think it's because he's so tall. Big hands. Slender body. And he has really nice hair. His face is not traditionally handsome but is very masculine looking. The whole thing is: chef's kiss.

I like him. Some roles are better for him than others. Adam in "Girls", Kylo Ren. Watching him be whiny does nothing for me.

I don’t think he’s particularly attractive and thought he was totally miscast in Star Wars. He is a good actor and looks good in a tux. I will second that regardless of how miscast I thought he was in Star Wars, he was still light years better than Hayden Christianson.

He doesn't have to be attractive. I just find him the opposite of attractive. He makes my skin crawl.

He is unusual looking, yes. Hot, not to me. Acting, outstanding.

I was repulsed by him and everyone else in Girls and only watched one season.

Then I saw him in Star Wars, and yowza! Hot!

Then I found out he's a former marine and active in helping veterans and saw his TED talk, at which point I loved him.
