Interesting! Also kind of like a young Alan Rickman. |
He was brilliant in Paterson and Hungry Hearts. I’ve liked him in everything I’ve seen him in, honestly. It isn’t so much his physical attractiveness although I think he’s fine looking, I prefer interesting to pretty when it comes to men.
Adam Driver’s sex appeal to me is that he comes across as intelligent and sensitive, in his characters and IRL interviews I’ve seen. I’m much more attracted to intellect than looks in men. Looks fade and then you are left with? |
OP, I agree with you and I'm glad somebody typed it out loud. I can't even stand to look at him. |
I was amazed how talented he was on SNL this past Saturday. He's not the best looking guy, but has a lot of presence. |
Nope. I have no problem with Adam Driver's looks, but he is no Alan Rickman. |
I'm not watching actors for their intellect. Unless they're distinctly simple I can just enjoy their looks. Channing Tatum is an excellent example - pretty face, good body, can dance, nice guy, but minimally educated and no really deep thoughts. |
He is so creepy. And his acting is awful. Feels like a joke how he’s shoved down our throats. |
Butterface |
Who do you consider a good actor? |
Did he see combat or was he on a desk or cleaning or serving mashed potatoes? |
I don't like him much so I don't watch his work. |
He was in the infantry, but then broke his sternum and ended up getting medically discharged. |
On a screen, all that matters is presence.
Lots and lots of really good looking people are nothing when put in front of a camera. You need to pop. It's there or it's not. And Adam Driver pops. He was good in The Force Awakens, My personal favorite is his Career Day sketch on SNL. |
Love him. He was great on SNL! |
Yes. whew not just me. |
