Trump is now tweeting at all of the states that are using mail in ballots, or who are sending out APPLICATIONS to registered voters for them to seek mail-in ballots, threatening them by (illegally) withholding federal funds.

I am not sure how he thinks witholding funds or forcing people to vote in person during a pandemic, particularly older voters, is a winning strategy. It's funny, the mail is fine for the census, taxes, prescription drugs, selective service registration etc, but not for mail-in voting, unless you are the president.

This was the scenario that was predicted by the House managers during impeachment. He did it to Ukraine and now he's doing it to the individual states: "You need to do what I want or else I'll cut off your money."

Trump is pushing us closer and closer to a dictatorship every day. Don't be distracted and focus on what's really going on.

It is so bizarre, isn't it? I've been shaking my head over this from the start. This should have been such an easy win for this jacka**. Give the states lots of resources and support them - easy peasy, you get a huge bump, while Biden is stuck in his basement! Instead he has needlessly antagonized voters and been an incompetent d*ck.

18 U.S. Code § 598.Coercion by means of relief appropriations

Whoever uses any part of any appropriation made by Congress for work relief, relief, or for increasing employment by providing loans and grants for public-works projects, or exercises or administers any authority conferred by any Appropriation Act for the purpose of interfering with, restraining, or coercing any individual in the exercise of his right to vote at any election, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.
