Aside from the salmon, this sounds really unhealthy. Do you always eat like this?

You sound a bit grumpy. Maybe cut back on the kale? Some of us like food that actually tastes good and we enjoy it because we are not disordered orthorexics.

I’m not a disordered anorexic (fixed that for you) but I’m also not eating waffles, subs, pizza and sandwiches 4x a week.

NP.

I actually think they were quite correct identifying you as an orthorexic. Your follow up comment supports their assertion.

How is taking one word, in this case orthorexic, and turning it into a different word that doesn't fit the context, anorexic, "fix" anything?

Orthorexic and anorexic are two different words.

Well aren’t you just superior then?

I thought this would be a helpful thread...why does everything become a passive aggressive exchange on this site? Ugh

Tuesday - I'm out at a work dinner. DH in charge. Probably out for sushi.

Wednesday - Chicken tikka masala in the Instant Pot. Side of naan (store bought) and peas.

Thursday - DH work dinner. Haven't decided yet. Maybe grilled cheese with sliced vegetables and ranch dip. Or out for sushi if they didn't do that on Tuesday.

Friday - finally. What a week. Salmon fillets that I'll pull out of the freezer Thursday night. Probably just pan-seared and finished in the oven, with roasted broccoli and rolls. And salad.

What is your slow cooker chicken tikka masala recipe? I have a good sheet pan recipe but would love a slow cooker one!

+1. Please share the Tikka Masala recipe!

I love this thread! I've gotten really good ideas.

Our menu this week

Monday: TJ's caulifower gnocchi with kale pesto and cherry tomatoes (because I read it here!), and grilled salmon.

Tuesday: Vegetable chili, and a choice of cornbread or grilled cheese sandwiches

Wednesday: No idea, we're visiting my in laws, but I can smell whatever they're cooking and it smells delicious.

Thursday: Sushi (it's one kid's half birthday, and we always let them choose, so this is his choice).

Friday: Salmon burgers (another idea from here!).

Saturday: Something from the freezer, maybe vegetable beef soup?

Sunday: We'll be back at the in laws, so again I don't know.
