Teachers— do any of you love your principal?

Well actually, no teacher on this thread who dislikes their principal has named their school but some of the few who do like their principals have named their schools. I am not happy with my principal but would not like to name my school because I am paranoid.

My principal trolls this board.

Ross principal is a control freak. Some teachers put up with it. Plenty leave.

I think it’s more the pressure cooker environment than leadership ability.
What do you mean?

You have a school of largely high performers so you’re trying to go from like 85% to 100% test scores, and any dip is a mark of shame. Plus a bunch of parents who think they are at a private school for the price of $1,000 PTA dues. At that point everyone is expecting perfection and it just isn’t going to happen.
Dues are not $1000. PTA accepts any donation to join. Of course many who can afford it donate generously.

Whatever the amount plenty of parents believe their donation saves tens of thousands of private school tuition and treat staff as such.

As a Ross parent, I'm not sure what is meant by this. Our family can't afford private school, and most Ross parents I know appreciate the staff and treat them well.
