Are all the above glowing endorsements from teachers or parents?

I believe the janney ones are from teachers. I worked with Janney principal at a former school. She is direct & no nonsense. I’m sure a great school leader

I’m going with parents. Think about it: many teachers are young and without kids. Why would OP expect them to be on DCUM? This is a website devoted to parents. Doesn’t mean teachers aren’t here, but the likelihood that teachers specifically in DCPS are reading this exact thread is likely quite low.

Is this a teacher? Because he's good but there are definitely issues I hear about from the teachers. Honestly curious...

It’s NOT just about parents. You can believe more or not- but MANY teachers post here.

Maybe the teachers should ID themselves as such on this kind of thread. The point is that parents’ views and teachers’ views are often different.

I’d normally agree- but thread title asks what teachers think. I’d assume responders are teachers.

+1. Parents are looking for what's best for their kids, and teachers are looking for the best employment environment. The two perspectives aren't the same thing.

As a hopefully incoming pk-3 family (fingers crossed) I am very excited to hear this!

I haven't seen my kids' school mentioned yet as a good principal (although from a parent perspective I think she's pretty good). But there are quite a number of teachers at the school with multiple kids attending the school, so I could totally see them on this forum (and also seeing that they all had their kids at the school made me feel more secure in our decision to attend).
