So GLAD he ousts himself, that saves the rest of us a lot of trouble |
I can't find the ousting tweet. When/what was it? |
How many of you know that Schiff's staffer met with Taylor and others in Ukraine? |
Lots of staffers (and Members of Congress) have probably met with Taylor in Ukraine - he's been the acting ambassador for months. You don't understand how Congress works, do you? |
I do! It just seems so ... odd... that Schiff sent one of his own staffers over to meet with the same individuals in August who claimed they had impeachment-worthy information in September. The "you don't know how X works do you" is such a tired line, btw. Find another. |
Did you hear about Nunes' staffer, Patel? You are implying, I believe, that Schiff told Taylor what to say. It might be the other way around. |
Maybe they were trying to determine why Ukraine didn’t have the aid that Congress had voted on almost a year earlier? |
If Congress is doing their work, then I would expect Congressional staffers from Defense, Foreign Affairs, and Intelligence to spend time in Ukraine among other hot spots around the world. And the ambassador and others sure as hell should be meeting with them. |
Having been posted to 5 embassies around the world, I can report that we hosted codels and staffers all the time. |
With a little googling I found at least 3 bipartisan Congressional delegations to the Ukraine since April. I also found that Schiff's staffer went in a bipartisan group totally 10 staffers. So lots of bipartisan interest in the Ukraine. Not so odd that a group of staffers would visit. |
Also kinda hilarious that you would think one meeting between a Schiff staffer and the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine equals a conspiracy.
But locking call transcripts in code-word servers... holding one-on-one meetings with Putin and destroying the notes... withdrawing troops from Syria after a chat with Erdogan... that's all perfectly normal. |
