Not an 2004 parent so don’t know and don’t care, but no, an exceptional player can be recruited to a top college without participating in playoffs or championships. |
Of course an exceptional player can get recruited regardless of circumstance, but does that exist on the VDA 04 team? If your player is not exceptional then wouldn't a elevated showcase presence be pretty necessary? |
If your player isn’t exceptional, they aren’t going to make a top college. That should answer the false choice above. Good players can make good colleges without attending the showcases as well. It’s more about marketing your player for the colleges you are interested in. It doesn’t sound like you’ve done this before, or even know what you’re talking about. If I had to guess, you are a u14 or under parent. |
You have a kid who is committed or playing in college? |
Do Alex and Quan still have jobs? |
VDA won’t be around next year and neither will they. |
Whatever.

Why do you think that is? They could convert their boys program into an ECNL program at which point their current name is kind of silly but I say they should keep it. |
This post certainly aged well: https://www.eliteclubsnationalleague.com/mid-atlantic-conference-standings-2019-20/ 0-4-2 |
