This person is an imposter and has been why the board is messed up. Whether teams there still play kick-and-run like the past or not, you clearly don't know anything about Arlington or DA.

1) They do. And maybe they switch around coaches as a way to say “Hey, we can all coach whatever team because we’re all doing the same things!”.
2) It is. I think that is the point of having some of the DA coaches with non-DA teams.

They might actually have a plan.

I had forgotten about the U13 pilot program. I wonder why none of the U13 teams show up on any of the team pages on the DA website.

It looks like the Arlington U13 DA team is in fact doing very well, with a 5-1-2 record so far.

Gerardo Ramirez is a good coach. I remember him from D-ODP. The program as a whole was a waste but he was one of the bright spots. I have never seen him coach a full team, but based on the way he coached at those sessions, it would surprise me if he did not coach a possession style. He definitely did not strike me as a kick-and-run coach.

I think this debate regarding possession based teams v non-possession based teams can be resolved by posting a link or two to Arlington DA games against decent level competition. If you see numerous 5+ pass sequences and some 10+ sequences, it would be difficult to argue that it is a run and gun team. You've got to show the evidence one way or another to back up your arguments.

Besides, who has that kind of time? Why not just post a link? So much simpler. Just a short clip even, not a whole game? It's not against the rules...
