If they’re lucky. |
Young black folks are the only ones who called him out? Really??
|
| It was so awful and I have totally been there and I feel so terrible this happened to her on this stage. W the ever-loving F. It was very obvious. |
LOL, it was started, perpetuated, owned, run, and completely controlled by rapist men from the beginning of every religion. |

I thought breasts weren't sexual?
That seems to be the position here frequently whenever breasts are discussed. That they aren't sexual. Now suddenly they are? I really don't see this as a predator intentionally molesting someone. He reached around to side hug her. She is short, his hand touched the side of her boob, rather than her waist. He is focused on preaching / speaking. Should he have had the presence to immediately take his hand away - of course? He didn't. He may not have had a single thought about where his hand was touching. Her dress was a slippery material, he could feel his hand slipping, he readjusted it (again possibly without analyzing where it was). She shouldn't have to deal with that and he should have quickly removed his hand. But lets not get carried away about a part of the body that isn't sexual and therefore is really no different than him touching her arm. |
Black folks WERE indeed the first to call it out and the ones who got him to apologize! Most of yall only found out about this because of this thread. It was HANDLED likely before this thread was even written. So just back up ok. Call out your own and stop worrying about what we're doing. Thanks. |
Are you under the impression that only Black people should speak out about a man groping a woman? Because the perpetrator is Black? What about the victim? "Call out your own" is ridiculous. Anyone who sees it can call it out. "Stop worrying about what we're doing?" Who gives a damn what you are doing? Did someone make you the spokesperson for all Black people? Thanks, indeed. |
| Wow, I was expecting to see what was clearly a misunderstanding. WRONG! Holy cripes that man was making me so uncomfortable that I can only imagine what she was feeling. What a creep! |
+1 She was obviously uncomfortable and trying to pull away from him without causing a scene, and he would NOT let go. UGH! |
|
I hate creepy hands.
Don't lock your hand around people it's creepy. |
I'm the OP and I'm a man I posted this because I might be oblivious To me, this seems very inappropriate but he didn't actually grab her noon That being said, the comments about him controlling her and squeezing her close to him make perfect sense The Washington Post headline said he grazed her breast |
Did you even watch the funeral to know about the touching. You found out because the preacher was being called out on blogs and websites visited predominantly by Black folks. Well at least on blogs with a Black population far greater than DCUMs. |
| Her boob" ha |
Black person here (not the person you are responding too) and that PP can definitely be a spokesperson for me on this site. Carry on spokesperson and educate the masses who believe they already know so much. |
This is every man’s defense when talking to HR. It was all just a misunderstanding! |
