As an allison myself, just wanted to let you know that the spelling thing isn't really a concern. People will sometimes ask "one L or two?" but that's it - it would be no different than Cara's experience (which I would have default spelled Kara). I'm actually surprised to hear you say it's too popular because I don't meet many kids with that name, but maybe in your circle it is. Not trying to convince you to use it, obviously (although hey, ive always liked it!) but just FYI In terms of other ones: Sydney? Kristen? Robyn? |
My name along with my daughter, mother, and grandmothrr are all in this list. I like your taste. |

Some of my favorites that sound nice with Molly and Cara. Some more popular than others, but none that I've thought are overused in this area.

I don’t think Julia is currently popular at all. In fact, I don’t know any under the age of 30. Also the youngest Allison I know is 18. I think those are two great names. Other suggestions:
Kathleen nn Katie Sarah Tess Lauren Annabelle nn Annie |
I’m the mom of a Julia who posted earlier. My other daughter’s name is on your list as is a runner-up name.
