Help! DH and I are unable to come up with a name we love for DD #3, due in a few months. Our first two girls have names that we adore: Molly and Cara. We cannot come up with another girls name that we like as much. Seeking something easily recognizable, not trendy, and pretty but not too frou-frou feminine. A few ideas we've tossed around and rejected: Jacqueline (too long/too many possible spellings) Alison (too many possible spellings/too popular) Julia (too popular in my opinion? Still on my DH's list) What's the best girl name you've heard recently, or one you just love? We are open to any and all suggestions. Thank you!!!
As an allison myself, just wanted to let you know that the spelling thing isn't really a concern. People will sometimes ask "one L or two?" but that's it - it would be no different than Cara's experience (which I would have default spelled Kara). I'm actually surprised to hear you say it's too popular because I don't meet many kids with that name, but maybe in your circle it is. Not trying to convince you to use it, obviously (although hey, ive always liked it!) but just FYI In terms of other ones: Sydney? Kristen? Robyn?
