Which private school - STA, NCS, Sidwell, Holton etc. has the most famous/prominent grads?

You don't know the half of it .... I think he lives in Potomac, probably went to college locally (G'town or AU maybe), and was a member of the Latin or Classics society in college. He also plays a lot of video games and once tried to make out with a cousin at some family event, but got rejected. His name might be Clay, or perhaps Trevor.

With all of the attention now on Sidwell with the Obama girls...they're are bound to be more famous grads from there.

Why's that? Have the kids changed? Has the program or mission of the school changed? I suspect, and hope, the answer is no. So why will grads become more famous? There didn't seem to be a burst of famous grads when prior presidential kids have attended local schools, including Sidwell.

Liz McCartney CNN Hero of the Year went to Visitation. If my dc's ever want to give up their privacy and be in the newspaper or on TV I sure hope it is for something as worthy as that. Too bad Visitation is not coed.

How about the article in yesterday's Post about the Georgetown student who's advertising for a personal assistant? What a jerk. And he went to Landon. As the parent of a Landon student, it made me cringe, and reinforced all the negative stereotypes of the school. Yuck.

I actually thought it was a creative idea. Heck, I'd love a personal assistant for $12 an hour. And it sounds like he's working and going to a competitive college so why not focus on those things.

I thought it was kind of fun. They did say he was dealing with a family member with cancer so maybe his mind is on other things. Too, it looked like he was trying to get some publicity...a little Dan Snyder in the making. Instead of "bubble boy" -- maybe he's trying to be "Personal Ass't. Boy".
