How many states have you been to?

The OKC bombing museum (which is why I went) is quite interesting—especially if you spend a lot of time around memorials in DC.

How very close-minded of you!

Yeah this is ridiculous.

At least 40 or 45 are worth visiting.

They are ALL worth visiting. I've been to all 50. Lived in 14. I've found something to love about every single state.

+1. I’ve only been to 46, but they were ALL worth seeing.

Meh. There's a bunch for which you can see equally or more exciting features elsewhere. Delaware, Indiana, Oklahoma, etc

Life is short. The world is big. If you want to see all 50, that's cool, but you can be very well traveled without it.

People who say Meh, have never truly been anywhere.

40 states and 20 countries but okay. Whatever you say.

Indianapolis has the best children's museum in the US and the Indiana Dunes state park is beautiful.

Completely agree.

Anyone who's been to all 50 states plus the 5 inhabited territories (Guam, Northern Marianas, American Samoa, Puerto Rico and the USVI)?

I ticked this one off recently and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Lots of civil rights history like MLK Jr's church, the Rosa Parks museum and the Selma bridge. The gulf beaches are really nice too.

Selma is a really interesting place to visit.

Their ghost tour and the bridge/history make it worth a day trip.

Huntsville has lots of space stuff and Space Camp.

I would say The Magic House in st. Louis is the best children's museum in the country.

39.

I think it depends. I only drove through South Dakota but we did see Mt Rushmore and the Badlands so I feel like it counts. But just drive thru only stopping for gas and restroom? Probably not.

I have been to most states except North Dakota, Mississippi, Kansas, Oklahoma. And no offense to those states but I don’t know that I have any reasons to go them them!

Mississippi has some lovely architecture and beautiful barrier islands with an old Civil War fort.

Unless you have drive across the American west, hitting every state west of the Mississippi, you cannot call yourself well travelled.

Nebraska is a great state, you should give it a chance.

North Dakota was the hard state to get to.

The best zoo in the US is in Omaha. It is hands down better than the National Zoo here in DC or the San Diego Zoo. So if you ever get even a teensy bit close to Omaha then you should make a special trip to see the Henry Doorly Zoo. Then you can cross Nebraska off of your list.

BTW there are other great things about Nebraska but the zoo in Omaha is a reason to go to Nebraska if it wasn't already on your list.

St. Louis Zoo gives it a run for the money.

St. Louis doesn’t even make the top 10.
