0% is actually financially smarter if you plan on keeping the vehicle. You will make more money long term using that cash in the market. Some people on here don’t like free money though and choose to pay cash for a car (which is ok if you are buying one that doesn’t offer 0% or buying used). |
It’s a humblebrag no matter how you spin it. OP asked for people with car payments to respond. You’re not changing the world by telling DCUM you paid off your car, and thereby have no car payment to speak of. |

High HHI, I do have some paid off cars, just not these. 4 are 0% or 0.9% loans, so why not, the other also has one of my kids on it to build his credit up. |
