Have you had 15 minutes of fame?

I’ve got nothing.

But I did live next door to that FBI agent that got busted stealing heroin. Awesome.

I was in an industrial film that was required viewing at new employee orientation for a worldwide company in the 1990s. Had a few people recognize me or ask me about it! The film ran for five years!

Ha, this is cute!

I worked in public relations for a major organization overseas, and was seen/quoted by media regularly. Now I'm a WOHM consultant and someone else has taken over my former job.. But I agree, it's still a snooze compared to real fame.

Me too! I lost horribly. You?

Came in second. Could never get the buzzer timing right and was so frustrated. The guy who won went on to win another week’s worth of shows, though, so he was good. I don’t watch anymore because it just makes me beat myself up.

I was on an HGTV show about ten years ago (I’m a contractor), I got recognized once in the Warehouse restaurant on King St; it made my night.

My only 15 minutes of fame was being on a first date, knocking over a water-glass filled with lots of ice that managed to hit every part of the table imaginable on it's way to the floor. The entire room turned around (did I say it was a noisy falling to the floor. So, I stood up and said my next performance would be in an hour.

A few good moments:

-I was on The Price Is Right. My episode aired during the government shutdown in fall 2014, so all my friends saw me on TV while I was at the office.

-My ex and I wrote an article for Marie Claire magazine back in the early 00s (prior to their digital publishing). The magazine paid for a shopping spree at Babeland in NYC and we reviewed the merchandise. Unfortunately, the article ran with a huge picture of us and my little sister read the article, she got really grossed out by that A bunch of our friends and colleagues saw the article too

-I was on an episode of the Conan O'Brien show. An actor sat next to me in the audience and he had an entire dialogue with Conan, I was on camera the entire time.

I was the subject of a "Man in the Street" TV interview once when I was in college - several of my classmates commented on it the next day. That's about it.

I hosted a cable access cooking show in college. I was a broadcasting major.

And I was in the on-camera audience for an episode of Ramblin’ Rod when I was in 4th grade (any Portlanders remember that show?).
