Resignation most likely outcome?

I think he would only resign if he was in ill health or something very very bigly could come to light by these investigations and he was forced into it.

He forgets basic facts. In this age of constant digital recording, it's only a matter of time before he reveals his "true" self to the public.

Frankly, I think he may be quite depressed once behind closed doors, so he may impulsively resign. We just need to make him believe that it was his own "good idea." Keep him mentally taxed and psychologically anxious; this is when he makes his biggest mistakes.

We watched Hillary collapse on film. Liberals said nothing to see here.

Let me say as a liberal, I don't want Trump to resign or to be forced to quit office.

There is a process for ridding ourselves of a president and that is impeachment. If we can't muster the votes to impeach Trump then we let him serve out his term. Why do I say this? I don't want to establish a precedent for hounding any president out of office. I felt the same way with regard to Clinton when he lied under oath and there were those who wanted him to resign.

I see this the same way that I view the Russian involvement in our election: it is unacceptable whether it is done to a Republican or Democrat. There are some things that go beyond partisanship. Trump should never have been elected ....... but voters in their infinite wisdom decided they wanted him and he won the electoral college decisively.

She had pneumonia. JFC. People get sick. "Liberals" didn't say anything other than, hope she starts feeling better soon and your guy is a corrupt goon of an insidious con man.

That's how I would feel if this were Pence. He's a hateful politician whose preferences are basically the exact opposite of mine. But he's *normal*. With Trump, every day it seems the normal world and its institutions are getting weaker and further away. I want him gone.

Infinite wisdom? yeah, those words no longer apply. I used to believe in that...no more.

He squeaked out an electoral college win with massive help from Russia. We will never know how much the Russian cyber campaign in his favor swayed the electorate because there is no way to actually measure that.

And if all the sketchy meetings and possible money trails to Russia turn out to be true, a LOT of Republicans are going down with the ship. You can hang on to that "it's not TECHNICALLY against the law" all you want, but the tide is turning and fast politically. Pence isn't clean, the Congressional leaders aren't clean. They are all lying, cheating bastards and I hope they ALL go to jail for some sort of high crimes and misdemeanors charge.

We will see. I agree being president is cramping his style, but there is so much good he can still do. I hope he will stick with it.

As opposed to the republicans who control Comgress and the presidency and haven't passed a single bill of any consequence.

Gutting regulations and walking away from treaties will have long term consequences that we can't begin to understand.

+1

I'll take pneumonia over mental illness/dementia any day.

Hilarious to see all these armchair mental health professionals making these mindless diagnoses of Trump's mental health - as if they know their ass from their elbow when it comes to medical conditions.

I will admit, until Trump ran for the president, I had never had reason to learn the difference between narcissistic personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder (sociopathy). Honestly it just NEVER CAME UP in a presidential election before.

Thanks, Trump.

I think if we offer to make him emperor, and give him a castle somewhere, he'd agree to resign.

Need to add: We would need to pay for the castle, and the upkeep on the castle, in order for him to take the deal.

Get all mainstream media to agree to call him Emperor Trump and lavish praise on him, and let him live in his castle and tweet out #RealEmperorTrump. Have the news refer to whatever the Emperor said today and speak with reverence of it.

You can even just do it on closed circuit TV. Tell him the palace is his "Summer and Winter White House" and keep real Fake News on 24 7 just for him. He'd NEVER KNOW we were shitting him. He doesn't actually read.
