SJP -- this was her first time attending the Golden Globes since 2007!! Elle Magazine showed how she looked 10 years ago and it's incredible how much she's aged in ten years. She looks like the mother of her 2007 self.
http://www.elle.com/fashion/news/a41928/sarah-jessica-parker-golden-globes-2017/ That said, I still think she looked fabulous this year. If I had to nitpick one thing, I would say her boobs could have used some additional support. |
| Yeah, I know SJP is getting a lot of grief, and I give her credit for being original. I think for me the big mistake was the heavy eye makeup, which is aging and harsh. I hate the cold shoulder trend and would have thought it was too suburban by now for her tastes, but I did like the flow of the dress and the waist on it. |
SJP has denied that her hair was any sort of tribute to Princess Leah. She said wasn't even thinking about that. |
See being totally flat chested - I love that look and while I have never gone to that extreme feel like I can wear low cut options without looking so exposed. But, my friends who are well endowed always tsk-tsk. I think when you are used to men starting at your chest you just think you have to cover it up. Men don't stare at my chest

She looks like Bette Midler. The eye makeup and makeup in general looks too harsh and heavy. Hate the hair and the dress. Hate everything about the look. I think she would've rocked it in black or burgundy. |
It's Leia. This article quotes her as saying her hair was inspired by a photo of her mother on her wedding day. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-4103190/A-happy-accident-Sarah-Jessica-Parker-inadvertently-pays-tribute-Princess-Leia-hairstyle-Golden-Globes-look.html This quote from the make-up artist made me laugh. You didn't want too much eye color?! As for the smoky eye? 'We didn't want too much color because the dress is white,' the make-up artist said. |
| Too bad sjp didn't bother to cover her dark roots. |
This, this this A v neck tee shirt can look "too much" on me. Sigh, its gross. I think this look is faboosh on small chests, but I also covet skinny women and this works on thin women only too. I love it. |
