North Face vs. LL Bean

I prefer LL Bean. I have both brands and I think the quality is better, personally.

I shop at Bean quite a bit. I have a summer home on the Maine coast. I don’t think of myself as “desperate.”

Ugh. You sound just like someone from ‘away’.

There are plenty of logos on adults in Weston .....

Well, Maine, which is in New England. I live in Maine part of the year and the Mainers I know wear L.L. Bean. So do flatlanders like me who only live there part of the year.

This. I’m from Maine and almost everyone from Maine has at least some gear from Beans. Personally, I love Beans.

From NH and I wear LL Bean. I am not trying to look cool, though!

LL Bean flannel shirts are not real flannel anymore. Thin. I’m thinking of trying NF flannel shirts.

I just got 2 NF zip jackets to match my NF walking/jogging pants. They have YKK zippers on 3 pockets. I really like them. Also, guaranteed for life.

North Face is not in that category.

totally disagree. It depends on where you live

Agree, but for the most part, Helly Hansen has replaced North Face in that category.

You’ve never met teenagers from Boston.
