PP 6/30@12:08 here: job well done, girl. yes it's one of the bolded names - the best one! |
So you named him Seinfeld? |
oohhh! now so curious. she bolded many names!! |
I'm not the one that said Emma is a nasty name, but I agree, it is a nasty name. It's a fat girl's name. Just because a name is "classic" doesn't mean it's a good name. A classic name is just a name that has been passed down to honor people. Blah. Gross "classic" names: Emma, Ann, Ruth, Bertha, Gertrude Ian, Evan, |
Oh, and Meredith. That is a fat girl's name. |
Totally disagree that those names (@8:46) are "gross". I like quite a few of them. (Wouldn't name my child Meredith simply because of Grey's Anatomy, but to each his own). |
I see the high schoolers are posting again. Bored? Perhaps you should get going off to your over priced summer camps -- better yet, get a part time job. |
Sawyer |
Darn! I was really hoping for "Seinfeld." |
"Ann" is a gross name?! That is hilarious. |
DCUM proves that opinions are like a$$holes. Everyone has one; no one thinks that theirs stinks. |
Okay, so if I say Emma is a non-attractive name; then you tell me to go to overpriced summer camp; aren't you proving that you're WT? BWHAHAHAHA! |
It's the way you word it, and you already know that. |
Emma is a beautiful name. Always makes me think of Jane Austen (and Gwyneth Paltrow in the movie). |
I'm the poster who said I thought it was funny to refer to Ann as "gross." I didn't comment on Emma or summer camp or anything else. I just think "gross" is such a ridiculous word to use -- calling Ann plain or boring or dull or common or something, I can understand. And it's not my name or my child's name or my future child's name or whatever, and I like it, but I could see it being too plain for some. I just think calling it "gross" is so silly. I guess if you named your child Vomitus, I could understand calling that name gross.
(And "WT"? Really?! Maybe we aren't all grown-ups here.) |
