NY Post publishes nude photos of Melania

The current Mrs. Trump was a professional model and signed a release. It's not as though these were personal pix stolen off a phone. Yes, she has a beautiful body, but no, it's not what we need for a first lady. Not even Berlusconi's wife was that lewd. Melania is a bit of an empty shell in a very toned package.

Personally, the photos of her aren't much more shocking than the ones where she's barely dressed. But it's interesting that the first black Miss America lost her crown when sexually suggestive photos were released of her. Yes, she voluntarily modeled for them and signed a release years earlier just like Melania, but double standards abound.

First off, I have no idea what that means. What we need in a first lady? WTF?

Second, if you are really going to base your vote on this point, we need to seriously consider restricting the franchise. Some people are too dumb to have the right to vote.

What is soft-core porn about these pics? And I say that as someone who is very liberal, loves the Obamas, can't stand Trump, and will be voting for Hillary. I feel bad that these pics she took at 25 are being released to shame her.

Agree. I don't think she'd be a good First Lady because she stole a speech and lied about graduating. I don't care that she posed nude and think this is bad form.

I don't have a problem with a model posing for nude pictures. But I do think Melania in general doesn't have the intellect and gravitas to be First Lady, a role model.

And I think her face looked better pre-plastic surgery, and her fake boobs don't match her body.

huh? You first mention her lack of intellect and then you move into critiquing her body.

Which appeals to you more, PP? intellect or "matching" body parts?

Liberals can be such hypocrites. Remember how they defended Bill when he committed perjury about his sexual exploitation of a young intern - saying it had nothing to do with his presidency? So why is the spouse (not even the candidate) put to shame for something she did (hurting nobody, by the way) when she was 25?

I remember my conservative parents saying that. He should never have committed perjury because he should never have been asked.

And these photos should never have been published because...

So are you saying that if I'm asked what I feel is an inappropriate question under oath, it's OK to commit perjury?

I am saying that asking someone about an affair under oath, if the one asking is not the spouse, should not be done. We uses to know better, as a society. Some peole have lost careers because of affairs, but charging them for perjury is ridiculous. As is impeaching them.

+1 They do not look like soft porn to me either. They look like a beautiful woman in the nude. compared to the Clintons its clean and appropriate.

I don't get how people are acting like this is an attack on Melania-she posed for them for the purpose of publication. No one snuck into her boudoir or, ahem, hacked her computer.

Also, publishing these photos is not aimed at Melania, seriously no one cares about her or her plagiarism. It's all aimed at Trump.

Yes, it was out in the open, part of her "gig," and she felt no shame.

I wonder how many women here are actually Conservatives? lol

100 Sheroes Just Posed Nude At The Republican National Convention

In May, Tunick called out for volunteers to participate in his vision, to interrupt business as usual at the RNC with a flood of nude bodies. The only requirement: be a woman ? whether Democrat, Republican, or any other political platform. Tunick hoped the work would serve as an act of peaceful protest, combatting the hateful rhetoric Donald Trump and his followers have directed at women, through the simple power of collective creation.

The message resonated. Over 1,800 women signed up to participate. Each participant submitted a statement explaining their reason for getting involved. One wanted a way to remember her body during pregnancy, another hoped the experience would help her heal after she was sexually assaulted. Some wanted to accept and celebrate their aging bodies, others to leave a positive impact on their daughters.

Personally, I don't think my daughter would find my posing nude at the RNC something of which to be proud. To each her own, I guess!

And two, if democrats want to use/spin this as a negative against her doesn't that fly in the face of the supposed sexual/feminine/artistic/cultural (she is European and nudity is treated much differently in the U.S. re: taboo) freedom, liberation, allegedly pro-women stance the party purports?

They are a bunch of hypocrites. Snorting Cocaine is fine as long as it's done by Obama, dropping pants in front of a young intern in the White House is nothing, that' their wild billy. Feminism stops at Trump's beautiful wife.

NY Post published it but it's mostly liberals who are rejoice of this and used it as an attack on Melania's "fitness" to be the First Lady.

Are you talkingt about this thread, or has there been more rejoicing? The pictures were only published last night/this morning. I woldn't expect a huge response at 10am on a Sunday, positive or negative.

I wonder if this means war between Murdoch and Trump?

Didn't Murdoch say he was supporting Trump?

The photos were probably pre-Trump, but why not finish a college? She had the time and money. If college is not for her, don't mention it or say it's not for you, but don't lie.

Eww. I think they do look porn-y. To me, though, it's not about the lewdness but about the fact that she sold her body to get money and success -- as she did in her marriage.
