I could not disagree more. These days, candidates' families have to campaign whether they want to or not. Kids have to get up on stage. Spouses have to hold interviews. If they don't, their candidate's campaigns wouldn't last long. That doesn't mean they are fair game. They are not the ones who will run the country. |
The Post exists to sell itself, as does all media. I'm telling YOU that, and all the posters who have weighed in with negative and lurid comments. |
| Amazing that Trump cares so much about that grieving Muslim mother opening her mouth, when he really ought to care more about Melania closing her legs. |
1. She has a nice body 2. She signed a release almost certainly 3. She is fair game esp.bgiven her husband's tactics and her own participation in the campaign and her words. I agree family is generaly out of bounds but this is different based on her own actions and words, professionally and as a shill for her husband. |
| I don't think the pictures will affect anyone's vote, but what will be really interesting is Trump's reaction. Will he handle it with a little bit of grace, for once in his life? Will he attack the Post for hating his wife? Will he congratulate himself for marrying someone prettier than Bill Clinton? Anything is possible! |
| When are they going to post Hillary’s nude photos? Or, Bill’s? |
| In this article Trump is quoted. Do you think Trump willingly released these to increase his support among men? |
|
I'm somewhat shocked that Mr. Jeff would want to put nude photos up of such a beautiful woman.
He's now hittin' below the belt. Folks are starting to get really worried that Trump will win, so let's pull out all the stops. They're desperate. What else can you do to try to embarrass him? Perhaps nude photos of his daughters will be next? |
We would all turn to stone
|
The reality is, and recent history has shown this..... that when folks “hit below the belt” when it comes to Trump, it only makes his support grow. |
Of course it would. Of course. If there's any story here, it's the MASSIVE privilege that lets the (white) potential First Lady be a college drop out who posed nude more than once. This compared to the (Black) actual First Lady who was a Princeton graduate, Harvard Law, prestigious firm, raising wonderful kids, etc. Except it is the (Black) actual First Lady who is called "trashy" and "inappropriate" for daring to bare her shoulders. |
Given that the photos were published by a pro-Trump newspaper, maybe Trump wants that reaction? It will be interesting to see how often "the liberals" get blamed for the pictures. |
It's not the age, it's the degree of their involvement. Given that she gave birth like yesterday, Ivanka could have easily and gracefully excused herself from the campaign, no one would have batted an eye. If she is campaigning for him, it's 'cause she wants to. So, fair game. Is Paul Manafort fair game? So's Ivanka. |
I'm not sure I understand who you are attacking. Melania posed for nude pictures, as part of her career as a supermodel. Ivanka and Tiffany are not supermodels and have not posed for nude photos -- possiblly some paparazzi somewhere have some revealing photos of them, but there are no professional photos of them. Why is this hitting below the belt? Trump won't care, nor Melania. He married her for her looks, after all, and she married him for his money. That's their romantic love story that they tell. |
So the creation of this thread can backfire? Perhaps someone isn't so wise after all. |
