Loretta Lynch scrubbing Orlando 911 tapes

Considering the word Allah appears in English dictionaries, it would be a fine editorial choice to leave the word Allah as it is. Furthermore, in editing transcriptions, it would be appropriate to include foreign language, so the reader can understand when English was spoken, and the moments when another language was spoken. The editor can choose to display the foreign language in a subtitle form, or perhaps the English translation in the same way.

Anyone want to argue with me? Bring it.

Btw. Whoever at the fbi did this. You are either inexperienced or deserve to be fired.

So let's look at this. I'm a Jew. I say never again. And mean it. But people have 'never again' a bit mixed up. Back during rise of the Nazis, there wasn't a group of radical Jews mixing amongst peaceful Jews, killing everyone in their path in the name of Judaism and God. There weren't Jews who were outright saying they wanted to kill us - and have done it over and over again to prove their point. We KNOW this isn't all Muslims. We DO know this is SOME Muslims. So it stands to reason, Mosques should get greater scrutiny, given we have seen some of Imams share the same views as the attackers (see video of Imam at Orlando mosque saying killing gays is doing them a favor). It stands to reason we would want to slow down or stop the bringing in of refugees until we can screen them properly, not half-assed. And for God's sakes, work with the churches in Syria to bring in Christian Syrians who are being persecuted by ISIS. I dare say the priests there know their parishioners and have for a very long time. Europe is a very good lesson as to why it makes no sense to wantonly bring people in. Our own CIA and FBI have warned they cannot properly vet.

We know who our enemy is - Radical Islam. They are screaming it from the rooftops. It's time we listen and do it right.

Amen to this!!!

He was told to do it. Do you really think this isn't a top-level directive?

Hi, it's me. No I don't think that he or she did this themselves. Whoever is ultimately responsible, top or mid level, is not conforming to basic standards when it comes to transcription..and for obvious political reasons.

Whomever is responsible also threw his AG under the bus today too

I've got to admit, Lynch did a bad job selling the redaction. She could've used several arguments that would have sounded better than what she actually said. Totally failed to sell it.

I'm the PP and fully agree.

Well, remember what Jonathan Gruber said........

They were able to pass the ACA thanks to the stupidity of the American people.
So, yes, they do believe we are all stupid.

Yep. That is evident in every speech Obama gives as well. The arrogance with this administration is absolutely astounding!

A really good article involving this very subject:

So strange. A strange thing to do, release redacted transcripts.

But, not “unprecedented” (a word they like to use) for this administration.
They have done all kinds of censoring based on what they want the public to hear. Or, flat out lying.

The unredacted transcript says just what they said the redacted one said. Does that matter to you?

How do we know it's real? Because they say so?

You can distrust whatever you want. If 30% of Americans believe that Obama was born in Kenya, then there's no convincing people.

Does it say God or Allah? They changed all references from Allah to God.

Um, Allah is Arabic for God. It's even the same God.

Oh for Allah's (God') sake . . . put the paranoia down.

Um, I know. But he SAID Allah, There was no need to 'translate' that for the public, unless you want to mislead them to think he actually SAID God.

Well then you would not know what the rest of the sentence said, because it's in Arabic.

49 dead people. 50+ injured. Go ask those lying in hospital beds about paranoia. Go ask the families of the dead. Your 'statistics' about the likelihood of being involved in a terror attack are meaningless to these individuals, as is your insistence the Islam is a peaceful religion. They're not feeling it right now, ya dig?

“Redact” is merely a euphemism for censor.
They censored the transcript. Probably to further their narrative.

This was a huge screw up by this administration.
Did Lynch make the decision to censor? Obama? Who knows.
But, I have little doubt that Comey or another official in the FBI insisted that they issue the uncensored version.
I bet the FBI wanted it uncensored in the first place, but were overruled by someone higher up.
