Op I live in Germany with kids as well. I have not heard of any "dress requirements or suggestions". What city and school is your sister located? Or do you copies of printed references?

The situations in Cologne and Munich are accurate from what is being reported on the local news.

This is a cartoon for Refugees. I am asking for a reference to OPs original statement that she stated that the German kinder are being taught how to act and dress around the refugees.

"Miniskirts could lead to misunderstandings"

A secondary school in Lower Bavaria has warned parents to put their daughters through blouses or miniskirts. Apparently, one is afraid of attacks by young asylum seekers in the neighborhood.

They should go to a country with a backbone - like Russia or Japan. Do you honestly think that Russians or Japanese will put up with this crap the way German ninnies and Swedish bed wetters do?

Actually no, you are ignorant, if you can't acknowledge that there is a big problem in Europe with sexual assaults, crime, and terrorism and they all have one thing in common - foreigners who are there either illegally, legally, as immigrants, or as refugees. You are blindly turning your eyes to these facts. I know people that live there and they are kind good people and they are so discouraged. Not sure what cushy neighborhood you live in, but if all of a sudden, you couldn't walk two blocks safely all of a sudden - especially in a very small town of 1,000 people which had zero crime before, you may feel differently.

You apparently haven't read this thread. Or, that article for that matter. "Pools" should be "Pool".

According to the German Federal Office of Criminal Investigation (BKA).
" The data gathered for the study was based on crime statistics dating from January until the end of September 2015. It evaluated overall crime rates, while also singling out trends among migrants. In particular, the report noted a marked spike in crime at arrival centers for refugees - a trend it attributed to the overcrowding of these facilities.

The study concluded that the majority of crimes committed by refugees (67 percent) consisted of theft, robbery and fraud. Sex crimes made for less than 1 percent of all crimes committed by refugees, while homicide registered the smallest fraction at 0,1 percent. Refugees from Iraq and Syria as well as from the Balkans were also more likely to commit crimes than from other countries of origin."

She told me last night that my niece and nephew have a new subject in school called sicherheit stunde (safety hour) where the kids are taught how to behave when around refugees. The girls are also taught what to wear. They are discouraged from wearing skirts and dresses as this might lead to unwanted attention from the refugees. I find this totally insane. Why can't the refugees be taught how to behave.

OP, you have to be pulling my leg! I can't believe this is real.

It's like the victim on the pier in san Francisco -- if it happens to you or your family, and you think this person didn't have to be here, the statistical imprint doesn't really matter. A life is a life. I am for legal immigration and the thoughtful admission of refugees --both with condition on understanding and integrating into the host country culture, and possibly with an eye to going home once situation in home country has stabilized. Also, no fly and safety zones so people are not impelled to leave in the first place. Not sure how to do this for central America, which just seems to have given up sometimes.
