Wives, do you fold and put away your husband's laundry?

I split the laundry, fold clothes, dishes and I do all the cooking 95% of the time mainly coz I'm the better cook and I'm the breadwinner. Ex works fulltime but don't make nearly as much as I do. I don't know I just don't want her to do the stuff herself or feel obligated just because I make more.
I'm dating a girl much younger than I now and she thinks my ex is crazy for letting me go. Actually the truth is I let her go.

Cool story, bro.

Me too, although after we had kids, he got pretty lazy with putting them away. Now they often stay out. Alas.

+1 except I hang up his pants so they don't wrinkle. NBD!

I've always done the laundry and put it all away. If DH is home while I'm putting it away he will pitch in. We've been married 20+ years and I've SAH and WAH but we never even considered separating it into his and hers.

I do laundry and put all clothes away, DH does dishes and cleans kitchen. Works great for us!

DH does his laundry and the kids as well. He's a marathon runner so his laundry is really smelly and probably would mold if I had to do them. He's always running the laundry and while he's at it, does our kids too. I do my pwn bec I'm particular of how its washed (delicate, cold water, etc).

He also does most of the cooking and household tasks. We have a housekeeper and gardener who take care of trash.

Works for us - 15 years in.

I fold and leave it out to be put away. My DW re-folds it before putting it away.

Nope. My husband does most of the laundry, but I put my own away and he puts his own away. We both put the kids away.

He does most of it because of his work schedule and also because he is pickier about how it is done (cycle, etc.) than I am.

We both fold each other's laundry.

I do not put his away.

He sometimes/often puts mine away.

We both make a lot of money. We have a housekeeper. She washes everything and puts it away. She also does all the grocery shopping and veggie/fruit washing and cutting and basic me prep. She keeps all the closets and cabinets organized. I hate those type of domestic duties. When we used to do that ourselves we always felt like we were running in place. Nothing stayed clean and the fridge always emptied out and clothes always got dirty. No thanks. Ive only used my washer and dryer maybe a dozen times in 2 years.

This is our situation. If our housekeeper is away then whoever thinks of it does the laundry. We always put the kids stuff away, but my DH and I are responsible for putting our own clothes away.

Good for you! I love doing all that stuff, esp in lieu of going to an office every day.

I put mine away because if I put it away, I know where it is when I get ready as I get ready around 0430 and am in no mood to rift through my clothes looking for something. Also, I don't want to wake everyone up that early when looking for my clothes.

It's just easier for me to put them away. Also, I like my clothes folded a certain way and hung up on hangers a certain way. She doesn't get "my way".
