then you wouldn't have 2 in college at the same time either! |
can someone explain this extra year thing? |
| The child will turn 5 before 30 sept. If their birthday is later and they turn 5 in say December, they may not be able to start kindergarten and you would have to pay for childcare rather than send them to presumably free school. |
thx |
| $1300s. 1 child in FT preschool/daycare in Tysons area. Worth every penny it's fantastic!! |
| $800 PT in-home daycare for 8 month old |
Same for us. (Twins, full time nanny, 3 morning/week preschool) |
Yeah - that's crazy (said as a mother of twins w/ a FT nanny.) Unless she's a live-in and this is on top of full room and board, this is really highway robbery. |
I am one of those who are NUTS. I would love a full-time preschool for my 2-year-old for $800/month. Would you mind sharing the school or, if not, at least where you are located? |
That can't be legal, can it? How can that include taxes? |
| $940 a month ($235/week) for an in-home daycare. Just my 1 yr old and a 20 month old currently there. We will pay more for pre-school, surely! |
| $2700 for a 4yo and 2yo in Ashburn - daycare |
| ~ 1600 in a downtown center for my 1 y/o (including the diaper program). If/when we have another I just don't see how we could swing tuition for both (even with the paltry family discount). It's crazy! |
I wish I had thought of this. I will have baby #2 in October. Currently paying $1400 at suburbs daycare for toddler. Hope to have her in part time preschool and nanny for #2, costs not that hugely different than sending two to daycare. Did you know if you have two kids at the BH chain at my workplace it costs you over $4400? My take home pay is not even $4k. But it's a federal job and I intend to work two more decades. |
What's the name? Interested!! |
