Graduated high school at 17. Turned 18 in nov. Didn't affect me either way.

Red shirting not allowed then, for good reason.

I was 17 upon graduation. Would NOT have it any other way. Was able to get B.S., grad school, law school and doctorate out of the way before starting "life" while still young!

17 is not young for graduation. It's average. 16 is young and 18 is old.

Redshirted my DC who has a fall birthday on the cusp (entered at 5, will graduate at 18 instead of entering at 4, graduating at 17). So far glad really we made the decision. DC has never been the oldest. Sports wasn't a factor, but my experience was.

How were you the youngest if you graduated at 17? That's normal. 16 is young and 18 is old.

18 is not old for HS graduation. Most kids graduate at that age.

17 and 18 are both normal because people start at or near 17 and most have turned 18 by the time they graduate. I graduated at 17.

I was 17 when I graduated high school. March birthday, was in K for two months and then moved up to first grade. It was the right choice academically, but though I learned how to make friends, im not sure it was the right choice socially.

College was three years? Not four?
