"Beautiful" people who you think are overrated? kind of a S/O

I agree with you and I don't find many current actors hot on looks alone. But I have always thought Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is great looking. He also comes across like a nice guy.

I don't have an opinion about him-never saw him in anything or heard him speak-but he isn't unattractive at first glance. I think the issue is that I am not a celebrity follower and get tired of seeing the same people in everything. I favor indie/foreign films. But I also tend to be attracted to personality. I LOVE intelligent people. I love subtle people. Quirky even? I see men around me I am more attracted to than most celebrities.

I wanted to add that I married a nerd, a cute nerd (in my opinion) but a nerd nonetheless. He is smart, funny and kind but in no way "hot" in the traditional sense at least.

Ditto. And like PP I tend to favor personality and character more than just looks..

I don't see the hoopla about Brad Pitt. He is not good looking at all.

Also, Elizabeth Taylor was overrated. She was very pretty, but I don't understand why so many seem to consider her the "greatest beauty of all time." And after her early 20s, her face always looked kind of bloated to me.
